Mujeres históricas/ Historical women

 

No se nace mujer, se deviene’ (Simone de Beauvoir).
 
He leído muchísimo acerca de lo que significa ser mujer.
Del feminismo…en pro y en contra.
Crecí sintiendo que era una desgracia ser mujer.
’Cuando un individuo es mantenido en una situación de inferioridad, se vuelve inferior’ – Simone de Beauvoir.
 
He analizado este sentimiento muchas veces. Y ahora en que
la palabra feminismo tiene un significado negativo, lo siento más vigente que nunca.
Es cierto que en muchas sociedades la mujer ha ganado lo que le debería haber correspondido como ser humano.Pero todavía queda mucho camino por recorrer…no sólo en la parte legal sino también en la parte intelectual y sentimental.
 
Como seres humanos deberíamos tener igualdad de oportunidades.
Y nuestra educación debería ser la misma.

 
En estas páginas voy tratando de recuperar a mujeres que han sobresalido de alguna u otra manera, ya que he crecido sin heroínas. Pero las hay…a pesar de todo.

I read a lot about what it means to be a female. about feminism ... pro and against.
I grew up feeling that it was awful being a woman.

I have analyzed these feelings many times. And now that the word feminism has a negative meaning, I feel it is more alive than ever.                       
It is true that in many societies women have gained what they should have fallen as a human being. But there is still a long way to go... not just legally but also the intellectual and sentimental aspect.
 
As human beings we should have equal opportunities.
And our education should be the same.                                               

Because I've grown up without heroines, I am trying to collect here women who have excelled in some way or another.  They are heroines...no matter the difficulties.
